About the role

Responsibilities
- Independent participation in ongoing financial accounting with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Reviewing, classifying and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
- Recording bank and cash transactions and assisting with payment processing according to internal approval procedures
- Performing account reconciliations (general ledger accounts, receivables, payables and, if applicable, intercompany)
- Supporting preparatory tasks for monthly and annual financial statements (e.g., reconciliations, compiling supporting documents)
- Maintaining and updating master data in the ERP system
- Assisting with VAT-related matters, in particular by reviewing supporting documents and providing preparatory work
- Clearing outstanding items and coordinating with internal departments
- Handling general administrative tasks, including documentation, filing and supporting processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk, tax clerk) or an equivalent qualification
- Practical experience in accounting; experience in specific sub-areas is desirable
- Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage (e.g., Navision/Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
- Structured and reliable work style with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Team-oriented personality with clear, service-focused communication
- Very good German language skills; English skills are a plus
