About the role

  • Cost Accountant ensuring accurate manufacturing costs and inventory control at Morgan Advanced Materials. Supervising valuation, variances, and production cost reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reliability and accuracy of manufacturing and purchase costs
  • Supervise inventory valuation and inventory control
  • Generate and analyze Production Variances
  • Determine monthly inventory valuation
  • Create and maintain item codes in the system
  • Audit bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure the reliability and accuracy of production costs
  • Prepare the Company’s Cost of Production and Cost of Sales statement

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in: Manufacturing costing in private or multinational companies.
  • Inventory control, valuation, and analysis.
  • Account analysis and reconciliation related to costs and inventory.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or assembly companies is highly desirable.
  • Proven involvement in: Production accounting close processes.
  • Cost variance analysis (actual vs. standard).
  • Cyclical and annual physical inventories.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Desirable: Specialization or diploma in Manufacturing Costs.
