About the role
- Cost Accountant ensuring accurate manufacturing costs and inventory control at Morgan Advanced Materials. Supervising valuation, variances, and production cost reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of manufacturing and purchase costs
- Supervise inventory valuation and inventory control
- Generate and analyze Production Variances
- Determine monthly inventory valuation
- Create and maintain item codes in the system
- Audit bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure the reliability and accuracy of production costs
- Prepare the Company’s Cost of Production and Cost of Sales statement
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in: Manufacturing costing in private or multinational companies.
- Inventory control, valuation, and analysis.
- Account analysis and reconciliation related to costs and inventory.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or assembly companies is highly desirable.
- Proven involvement in: Production accounting close processes.
- Cost variance analysis (actual vs. standard).
- Cyclical and annual physical inventories.
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Desirable: Specialization or diploma in Manufacturing Costs.
