Responsibilities
Update course materials thematically or create new materials on predefined topics: presentation slides, screencast videos, WBTs (web-based trainings)
Research technical developments and academic findings
Develop practical computer exercises (PC exercises): design the exercises; then assemble tools, exercise data and scripts (e.g., Bash, Python); write exercise sheets and model solutions; conduct user tests
Compile new forensic datasets: research existing sources or generate images, videos and text corpora
Optimize existing course materials for clarity, (corporate) design and readability
Test in-house and external forensic tools
Optional: implement compact GUIs for CLI tools used in the PC exercises
Administer our VMs and GPU servers and co-supervise the PC exercises during courses
Requirements
Enrolled student in a STEM degree program
Good knowledge in at least one of the topics listed above; willingness to learn additional topics
Strong interest in communicating your technical knowledge in a structured and comprehensible way
Graphic design skills for presentation slides, instructional videos, etc.
Independent working style and reliability in meeting deadlines
Good German language skills (at least B2 or equivalent, as the course program is German-language)
Interesting, highly varied tasks related to current research topics in digital forensics and AI
Practical experience through direct or indirect contact with course participants (e.g., from corporate security, police, media, software development, AI systems)
