About the role
- Quality Assurance Engineer developing testing frameworks for AI platforms at Fractal. Collaboration with engineering and product teams for quality assurance throughout the data product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and monitoring of quality standards.
- Develop a Quality Assurance framework for the entire organization and Gen AI platforms.
- Help drive quality throughout the entire data product lifecycle through collaboration with product and development teams.
- Develop test cases and automation scripts.
- Analyze the system to consistently deliver quality products to downstream consumers.
Requirements
- 5 + yrs of experience in a Data Testing role validating different aspects of data migration, ETL & DW testing practices.
- Knowledge or working experience in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL for testing, analysis.
- Exposure to testing in data migration. Familiarly with diff test approaches used for migration validation
- Thorough knowledge of testing and defect management lifecycle.
- Clear understanding of AWS ecosystem and data-related services such as S3, Glue etc.
- Hands on experience on Python , Pytest and other common tools used for data testing automation (Automating Data ingestion, Validation, mapping, Data reconciliation, historic/incremental loads etc).
- Experience in automating parts of data validation (using dataframes, python setup).
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate with the engineering, support teams, and business users to define test cases, execute data validations.
- Contribute to performance testing (e.g., load testing) to validate data handling under stress.
- Contribute to test automation frameworks where applicable.
