About the role

  • Dynamic Outside Sales Representative in a leading outsourced sales organization for the electrical industry. Targeting customer accounts through in-person and virtual sales calls while based in Western MI.

Responsibilities

  • create demand for each brand in your geographic territory(s)
  • execute 4-5 in-person and/or virtual sales calls to customer accounts 4 days a week
  • perform prospecting, opportunity follow up, and general territory maintenance activities
  • communicate with customers through various channels including in-person sales calls, phone conversations, and email
  • occasional overnight travel may be required to attend education seminars or customer events

Requirements

  • Must reside in Western MI
  • Demonstrates a professional image and demeanor
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both the strategic and functional area
  • Ability to work within a team environment
