Responsibilities
Lead a world-class team of engineers responsible for the design, development, and delivery of seating systems across our vehicle portfolio.
Oversee the integration of comfort, craftsmanship, safety, and advanced technology while ensuring all quality, cost, and weight targets are met.
Collaborate with Studio/Design, Marketing, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to deliver best-in-class interior solutions.
Drive engineering solutions that ensure best-in-class J.D. Power "Seat Quality and Satisfaction" results.
Lead initiatives to simplify the seating portfolio.
Execute a "Design Once, Use Many" philosophy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in automotive product development, specifically within Interior or Seating systems.
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience managing large-scale budgets and hitting aggressive weight and cost-reduction targets.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complex product launches (GPDS).
