- Finance Manager responsible for financial control and development at FOODVIBEZ. Managing reporting systems, cashflow, compliance, and collaborating with key departments in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- The Finance Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for the financial management and further development of FOODVIBEZ GmbH
- The role combines hands-on financial operations with strategic planning and serves as a central interface to executive management
- The goal is to enable sustainable growth, ensure financial transparency, and enable data-driven decisions in the dynamic food and e-commerce environment
- Build, maintain and further develop the finance and reporting systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts and budget plans
- Cash flow management and liquidity planning
- Analyze revenue, cost and margin structures (including SKU- and channel-level analysis)
- Manage external accounting providers and tax advisors
- Ensure accurate balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Responsible for tax and financial compliance
- Analyze online sales channels (e.g., Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon)
- Coordinate retail sell-through, terms and returns
- Develop system-supported KPI dashboards
- Work closely with executive management, supply chain, marketing and operations
- Establish scalable finance processes across logistical and commercial workflows
- Support pricing strategies and margin optimization
- Provide ad hoc analyses for expansion, new products and sales channels
- Prepare investor reports and board materials
- Support fundraising processes and bank communications
- Participate in financing discussions and due diligences
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Experience in e-commerce or FMCG environments is a plus
- Knowledge of financial planning, accounting & controlling
- Proficient in Excel/Sheets and ERP/BI systems; DATEV experience is a plus
- Hands-on mentality and strong numerical affinity
- Ability to prioritize in a dynamic startup environment
