About the role

  • Financial Manager responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis at FLO, shaping strategic performance in the electric vehicle charging network. Directly contributing to organizational growth and value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process (operating and capital) and develop multi-year financial plans (3–5 years) aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Produce quarterly financial forecasts and develop sophisticated models (cash flow, valuation, growth scenarios, sensitivity analysis).
  • Facilitate budget review cycles with various departments and integrate macroeconomic and industry assumptions into forecasts.
  • Design and produce management reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare presentations for PODS meetings, the Board of Directors, and investors.
  • Track capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and evaluate their return on investment.
  • Act as a strategic partner to department directors, supporting them in interpreting data and making informed decisions.
  • Participate in the financial assessment of new projects, commercial initiatives, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure consistency between actual results and forecasts.
  • Optimize FP&A tools, systems, and processes (ERP, EPM, BI, and data visualization tools).
  • Promote report automation and the use of advanced analytics.
  • Identify and implement FP&A best practices.
  • Coach and develop a financial analyst by setting clear objectives and providing regular follow-up.
  • Foster a collaborative, rigorous, and excellence-driven work environment.
  • Represent the FP&A function on cross-functional committees and organizational projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (required).
  • 5–10 years of corporate finance experience, including FP&A responsibilities (financial analysis, reporting, modeling).
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team or collaborating with finance teams (an asset).
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Data visualization and BI skills (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS / ASPE) and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of valuation concepts, corporate finance, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English — English is required as financial models and reporting tools are developed and presented in English to our internal and external partners.
