About the role
- Duty Manager managing day-to-day operations and flight schedules at Flexjet Europe. Ensuring safety regulations are followed and aircraft are well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations
- Oversee scheduling and coordination of all flights
- Ensure effective management of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events
- Handle emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during flights
- Monitor and ensure Operations controllers, Schedulers and Crew dispatchers are performing their duties
- Handle last-minute changes or requests
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
- Oversee the selection and scheduling of flight crews
- Be the primary escalation point of contact for Owner and Client services
- Coordinate with aircraft maintenance for scheduled flights
- Assist in managing operational costs and optimizing resource allocation
- Maintain accurate records of flight operations and prepare reports
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
- Assist in training and development of new employees
Requirements
- Extensive experience within an aviation environment preferably Business Aviation in a Supervisory role
- Knowledge of fractional operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Strong understanding of International Operations
- Experience with worldwide flight planning incl. ETOPS
- Scheduling experience is a plus
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence to optimize flying schedules and identify sell-offs
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills
- Further language skills of advantage
