Duty Manager managing day-to-day operations and flight schedules at Flexjet Europe. Ensuring safety regulations are followed and aircraft are well-maintained.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations
Oversee scheduling and coordination of all flights
Ensure effective management of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events
Handle emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during flights
Monitor and ensure Operations controllers, Schedulers and Crew dispatchers are performing their duties
Handle last-minute changes or requests
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
Oversee the selection and scheduling of flight crews
Be the primary escalation point of contact for Owner and Client services
Coordinate with aircraft maintenance for scheduled flights
Assist in managing operational costs and optimizing resource allocation
Maintain accurate records of flight operations and prepare reports
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
Assist in training and development of new employees
Requirements
Extensive experience within an aviation environment preferably Business Aviation in a Supervisory role
Knowledge of fractional operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Strong understanding of International Operations
Experience with worldwide flight planning incl. ETOPS
Scheduling experience is a plus
Must work well in a fast-paced environment
Confidence to optimize flying schedules and identify sell-offs
Detail-oriented
Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills
Further language skills of advantage
