About the role
- Product Manager responsible for the lifecycle management of automotive parts at Alliance Automotive Group. Engaging with suppliers and internal teams to ensure effective product management in the aftermarket sector.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for complete product range lifecycle from New to Range through to end of life removal
- Maintaining the live product file on ERP systems
- Product cataloguing (Make model index) via aftermarket solutions and supporting the wider cataloguing business function
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate new product launches
- Carry out Supplier benchmark analysis including pricing and cross referencing.
- Working in conjunction with the supplier and internal Technical teams to produce and manage product factsheets, technical data and product notes
- Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to promote internal and external brand awareness
- Handling basic technical queries
Requirements
- Strong level of computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience of working within the Automotive Aftermarket
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Team Player.
- High level of both written and verbal communication.
- Technical knowledge of vehicle components.
- Experience working within the Commercial Vehicle sector would be advantageous but not essential
