About the role

• Join the Valuations and Financial Modelling team at Findex, working across diverse client engagements. Manage valuations, develop financial models, and maintain high compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business, key value drivers, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Conduct research on industries, comparable companies, and precedent transactions to support valuations.
• Analysing data and involvement in solving problems and delivering complex engagements.
• Manage and deliver valuation engagements for a wide range of clients, from SMEs to listed public companies, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Develop and review financial models from scratch using best practice techniques and analytical tools.
• Prepare high-quality valuation reports, proposals, and supporting documents for client engagements and business development activities.
• Maintain compliance and quality standards by ensuring accurate documentation, meeting chargeable hour targets, and achieving profitability goals.
• Ability to work in other areas of Corporate Finance, including Financial Due Diligence, M&A and Debt Advisory.

Requirements

• Degree in Commerce/Business/Law or Economics with experience in Corporate Finance primarily in the areas of Valuations and Financial Modelling
• Strong Excel skills and some experience in reviewing and/or building financial (three-way) models.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills and strong research skills
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience writing reports and strong technical knowledge of business and equity valuation
• Clear and confident written and oral communication skills
• Strong personal drive and ability to take initiative
• Ability and desire to work as part of a close-knit team
