Responsibilities
- Review specifications and technical requirements to identify potential gaps and edge cases
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for backend services and APIs
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, Swagger, or similar tools
- Validate data integrity, system integrations, and backend workflows
- Identify, document, and track bugs through issue tracking systems
- Collaborate closely with developers to investigate issues and verify fixes
- Perform regression testing to ensure system stability across releases
- Contribute to test automation where applicable, particularly for API and backend testing
- Suggest improvements to testing processes, tools, and quality practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of prior QA/testing experience
- Knowledge of structured testing methods and procedures
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools
- Experience in testing both web and mobile applications
- Experience with version control systems (git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp)
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-spotting skills
