About the role
- Part-time Event Support Staff coordinating meal packing events for U.S. Hunger. Engaging with volunteers and ensuring impactful events across the country.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful, engaging, and impactful events all across the country for our partners and volunteers
- Connect with clients and volunteers ensuring excellent customer service during our Hunger Projects
- Educate volunteers about U.S. Hunger and our initiatives
- Coordinate and facilitate Hunger Project event setup and breakdown
- Ensure food safety guidelines are followed
Requirements
- Must by 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Enthusiastic, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
- Attentive to detail
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large groups of people
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and move around on a floor for hours at a time
- Background check and driving history report are required for this role
