Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in multiple VAT consulting projects, providing assistance in identifying risk areas and sustainable tax planning opportunities across all stages of tax incidence, helping clients meet their compliance obligations and business objectives
- Assist audit teams in reviewing calculations and identifying risks/exposures
- Develop and maintain productive client relationships throughout the year
- Monitor the work team's progress against the plan and make adjustments as needed
- Generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration or Economics
- Advanced/Fluent English
- Deep knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS and ISS)
- Project management skills
- Experience in compliance and/or tax planning projects, analysis and review of tax procedures, identification of tax credits, preparation of reports and responses to tax queries, and operational restructuring will be an advantage
- Experience supporting audit, compliance and tax planning projects
- Expertise in preparing technical proposals and developing new business
- Knowledge of Digital Tax.
