About the role
- Senior Software Quality Engineer ensuring software quality using modern testing tools in industries like Automotive and Aerospace. Collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing proof of concepts in projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure software quality through modern testing methods and tools across industries such as automotive, aerospace, banking, medical, mobile, and energy
- Identify optimization opportunities and develop tailored solutions
- Advise stakeholders and conduct proofs of concept
- Support analysis of customer applications and identify suitable test automation or load and performance testing tools
- Overall responsibility for software quality throughout the entire development process
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or a natural science, or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional and/or project experience in software testing
- Familiarity with common test tools for test automation (e.g., OpenText ALM, OpenText Unified Functional Testing, Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, or Selenium) or for load & performance testing (e.g., Micro Focus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, NeoLoad)
- Fluent German (minimum C1 level)
- Good command of English
- Strong commitment, flexibility, and willingness to travel for client engagements nationwide
