About the role
- Project Manager at Expleo leading client IT projects with a focus on infrastructure and consulting. Responsible for delivering solutions in a collaborative hybrid environment with Waterfall methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives
- Identify, manage, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies
- Monitor project budgets to ensure cost‑effective delivery
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues
- Ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards
- Lead technical teams, capable of engaging with architects, SMEs, and technical workstreams
- Bring IT colleagues on the delivery journey through clear communication, challenge, and support
- Flex focus, direction, and workload as required throughout the programme lifecycle
Requirements
- Excellent client‑facing skills
- An understanding of IT infrastructure
- Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to understand and lead system development, implementation and data integrations
- Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies
- People management skills to focus and lead teams in complex projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Desirable Certifications: MAPM, PMP, Prince2
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Experience managing technical delivery, including design, integrations, data flows, and architectural impacts
- Experience leading large‑scale IT projects, including systems development, infrastructure, and data projects, with associated business and organisational change
- Experience working with 3rd‑party vendors and managing integration‑focused deliveries
- SAP delivery experience is desirable, particularly involvement in providing connectivity to SAP environments within a broader ecosystem (e.g. system integration, testing, data)
- Experience within the retail banking or automotive is desirable but not essential
