About the role

  • Compliance Field Engineer at Eversource responsible for managing cyber-security compliance activities. Leading assessments and collaborating with operations to ensure adherence to standards in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and managing activities associated with the development and management of Compliance activities related to the cyber-security, physical security, and maintenance of the Bulk Electric System
  • Develop and lead assessments, audits, and reviews of existing compliance
  • Identify performance gaps; facilitate the determination of improvement actions and track them through completion
  • Work closely with the Operations staff to ensure compliance and implement process improvements
  • Track changes to applicable standards as they are approved by regulatory authorities.
  • Provide engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 3-5 years related experience is required
  • Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred
  • Ability to independently develop, present and execute new projects through collaborations with other departments
  • Familiarity with power related software is preferred.
