Project Manager coordinating software systems design and development with client IT team in Strasbourg. Seeking a candidate with extensive experience in consultative project management and English proficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage the design, development and implementation of software systems, including interoperability components, as per user-defined requirements;
Define project scope, goals and deliverables;
Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan;
Work in close relationship with the programme /project manager to allocate the best possible IT staff to the required roles, to ensure smooth execution of all activities;
Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience;
Ensure that the security policies and ITSM or project processes, aligned with the Client’s processes, are followed by its team.
Requirements
University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Minimum 10 years of experience in consultative Project management in the IT software development and quality related areas;
Minimum 8 year of experience with a project management methodology (e.g. PM2, PRINCE2, PMP);
Experience with consultative Project management in the IT software development and quality related areas;
Excellent knowledge of business process management, enterprise architecture and project management standards and methodologies, esp. agile / scrum software development methodologies;
Excellent command of the English language.
