Responsibilities
You will be the primary point of contact for handling requests and resolving incidents (network, software, hardware) and provide technical support for industrial environments.
Participate in diagnosing and resolving technical incidents efficiently to minimize operational impact.
Contribute to on-site system monitoring to ensure optimal operation and quickly identify/address any performance issues.
Install, configure, and replace user IT equipment (PCs, smartphones, printers, collaboration tools).
Administer local servers and networks in collaboration with global IT teams.
Process tickets and follow up on user requests.
Provide support for industrial equipment: scanners, industrial printers, OT workstations and associated software.
Manage and maintain IT assets (hardware and software).
Train and support users in the use of IT and collaboration tools.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and knowledge bases.
Support local applications in accordance with global policies.
Follow and comply with internal and external audit requirements.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure IT/OT compliance.
Participate, when required, in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
Requirements
Degree in IT, technology, or equivalent experience
1 to 3 years of experience in IT support preferred
Experience in industrial environments (highly desirable)
Excellent command of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite
Good knowledge of Windows servers and ITIL best practices (asset)
Service-oriented, meticulous, and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Familiarity with IT service management tools (ITSM) and ticketing systems
Ability to work in English
Organizational skills, autonomy and team spirit
Professional conduct and customer-service orientation when interacting with stakeholders, employees, and colleagues
Ability to lift loads up to 20 kg
Mobility: occasional travel between multiple sites, with the possibility of remote interventions
