About the role

  • Technicien Support Informatique offrant un soutien IT de proximité aux utilisateurs et à la chaine d'approvisionnement industrielle chez Essity. Gestion des demandes, résolution d'incidents, et travail avec les équipes globales.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the primary point of contact for handling requests and resolving incidents (network, software, hardware) and provide technical support for industrial environments.
  • Participate in diagnosing and resolving technical incidents efficiently to minimize operational impact.
  • Contribute to on-site system monitoring to ensure optimal operation and quickly identify/address any performance issues.
  • Install, configure, and replace user IT equipment (PCs, smartphones, printers, collaboration tools).
  • Administer local servers and networks in collaboration with global IT teams.
  • Process tickets and follow up on user requests.
  • Provide support for industrial equipment: scanners, industrial printers, OT workstations and associated software.
  • Manage and maintain IT assets (hardware and software).
  • Train and support users in the use of IT and collaboration tools.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and knowledge bases.
  • Support local applications in accordance with global policies.
  • Follow and comply with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure IT/OT compliance.
  • Participate, when required, in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, technology, or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support preferred
  • Experience in industrial environments (highly desirable)
  • Excellent command of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Good knowledge of Windows servers and ITIL best practices (asset)
  • Service-oriented, meticulous, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (ITSM) and ticketing systems
  • Ability to work in English
  • Organizational skills, autonomy and team spirit
  • Professional conduct and customer-service orientation when interacting with stakeholders, employees, and colleagues
  • Ability to lift loads up to 20 kg
  • Mobility: occasional travel between multiple sites, with the possibility of remote interventions
