Planning and controlling construction projects for Espaçolaser's expansion. Collaborating with various departments to ensure project objectives are met.
Responsibilities
Project planning (including, but not limited to, creating schedules) and deadline monitoring
Track and manage requests from various departments, controlling the development and execution of projects in the area based on the expansion plan to ensure scope compliance
Produce and distribute materials related to project progress, including updates to spreadsheets, presentations, and status reports
Create and manage documents, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations related to projects
Schedule and lead weekly project follow-up meetings
Identify process improvement opportunities, formalize and implement processes to establish an operational standard
Knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and project billing to control project CapEx
Proactive variance analysis (verifying conformity between scope, cost, and timelines) and development of action plans with involved areas to drive continuous improvement
Support the engineering team with analyses for the approval/onboarding of new suppliers
Requirements
University degree in a related field (engineering, architecture, or business/administration); postgraduate qualification in project management is desirable
Knowledge, even at an introductory level, of project management best practices and methodologies (traditional and/or agile)
Experience in project control, preferably in engineering projects (retail expansion, construction companies)
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Power BI is a plus
Strong communication skills to lead meetings with multiple company departments
Collaborative attitude and ability to support project managers and multidisciplinary teams
