Responsibilities
Reporting to the President, Capital Division, serve as the primary liaison for a portfolio of approximately 100 EPF sponsors
Oversee a team of three Relationship Managers, ensuring consistent, high-quality client service and coordinated risk management
Shape and execute an enhanced strategic plan for EPF client intake, product deployment, and post-closing asset and risk management
Collaborate closely with product line leaders and staff to strengthen processes and improve client outcomes
Manage a financially sustainable budget and business model; lead cross-divisional collaboration on fundraising, communications, data and analytics, and policy
Function as the primary point of contact for EPF’s most sophisticated participants, ensuring ongoing thought leadership and responsive support
Drive strategic client growth, team development, and financial performance
Provide feedback loop to business lines on challenges and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
A minimum of 15 years of work experience
Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in business, finance, real estate, urban planning, or related field preferred
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Proven track record overseeing complex client portfolios and delivering high-quality client service
Experience managing client-facing teams, ideally within financial services, community development finance, or related sectors preferred
Experience in risk management, investment oversight, and resolving distressed or workout situations
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, and cross-functional collaboration
Strong finance and real estate experience including strong experience in underwriting within a CDFI or private lending context
Familiarity with a range of federal, state, and local community development programs that finance affordable housing and other real estate assets strongly desired
