Responsibilities
Management of the labor caseload, working in both advisory and litigation matters;
Coordination and oversight of external law firms, including:
- definition of procedural strategies;
- review of pleadings, deadlines and case progress;
- cost, fees and performance control;
Handling a high-volume portfolio of labor claims from initial stage through closure;
Definition of strategies for hearings, settlements and preventive measures;
Drafting, reviewing and approving legal pleadings and strategic submissions;
Review and validation of labor contingencies, including risk classification and provisions;
Preparation, consolidation and presentation of legal KPIs, management reports and area dashboards;
Advisory work with internal departments on topics such as:
- labor legislation;
- HR practices;
- risk mitigation and labor liabilities;
Support in standardizing legal positions, procedures and best practices;
Deadline management and support for strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent);
Active OAB registration (bar membership);
Prior experience as a Senior Labor Lawyer/Attorney;
Strong knowledge of Labor Law and Labor Procedure (individual and collective);
Experience managing external law firms;
Experience with high-volume legal caseloads;
Knowledge of managing labor contingencies and legal KPIs;
Good communication, organizational skills and ability to prioritize;
Knowledge of Union Law is a differential.
