About the role
- General Project Manager responsible for executing wind park projects while ensuring quality, cost, and deadlines. Leading teams and collaborating with clients for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the timely, quality-compliant, and cost-effective execution of wind park projects from the planning phase through to handover
- Ensuring compliance with all HSE standards
- Initiating and managing project optimization measures in collaboration with internal partners
- Coordinating and providing technical leadership to the project team (Commercial Project Manager, Construction Manager, Electrical Works Manager, Logistics Coordinators) as well as external subcontractors
- Primary contact for our clients during the project planning and implementation phases
- Monitoring the project schedule and initiating control measures in case of deviations
- Inspecting completed work with regard to quality and cost aspects
- Responsible for adherence to the project budget
- Contract and claims management
- Regular project reporting
Requirements
- Completed technical degree (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil or Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification, ideally with a project management certification
- Project management experience in plant construction or the energy sector
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong communicator with initiative, results-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial thinking
- Very good German and English skills
- Willingness to travel for business
