About the role
- Lead and manage the execution of Field Service activities for turbine projects at Emerson. Ensure successful installation and operational excellence while fostering collaboration with clients and teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage turbine start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring resources and teams are aligned for successful site operations
- Expand and develop Field Service installation and commissioning resources to support the growth of the turbine business
- Oversee personnel, equipment, and financial resources to expand the business volume and profitability of the Turbine Outage group by managing Field Service scope and change notice activities
- Build close relationships with Turbine retrofit customers to grow the Emerson Power & Water Solutions business volume while providing quality service and support to our customers
- Collaborate with regional Field Service leadership to share resources to enhance productivity and promote teamwork in the region and throughout the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in Instrumentation and Control in the Power industry
- Demonstrated experience in resource management, risk management, and change management
- Ability to manage multiple activities at the same time while assessing technical specifications
