About the role

  • Regional Vice President overseeing account management and clinical guidance for national clients at Elevance Health. Collaborating with sales and account management teams to enhance healthcare quality and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivates relationships with decision-makers and influencers within prospective customers
  • Serves as a clinical thought leader and develops strategic messaging
  • Partners with Sales RVPs, Account Executives and Account Managers for new sales
  • Supports account finalist opportunities and client quarterly and annual reviews
  • Ensures high-quality and efficient medical services are provided to accounts
  • Consults with and advises clients on clinical programs and strategy
  • Serves as a medical subject matter expert in specific areas
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing

Requirements

  • Requires an MD
  • minimum of 10 years of progressive industry experience
  • Current unrestricted medical license in applicable state(s) required
  • Board certification is required
  • Advanced management degree (MBA, MPH) preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an externally facing role, preferably with employer groups
  • Comfortable presenting & effectively articulating information to external customers
