Responsibilities
Serves as the market quarterback, responsible for owning internal client relationships
Drives growth, ensuring market-level execution in partnership with Carelon and Elevance business units
Combines strategic client development with operational accountability
Ensures Carelon delivers measurable cost-of-care and customer experience outcomes
Builds and maintains trusted relationships with market executives and client stakeholders
Acts as the Carelon Behavioral Health market steward, ensuring operational cadence, escalations, and delivery plans are executed
Partners with Carelon Health Cost of Care on deployment of cost-of-care solutions
Collaborates across Carelon Health businesses to provide consistent customer experience, reporting and governance across markets
Builds effective networks across BUs, operations, and clinical teams
Requirements
Requires a BA/BS in health care related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, sales and/or operations in the health care industry
MBA preferred
7–10+ years of experience in healthcare account management, operations, or consultative sales (payer/provider/services)
Demonstrated success growing and sustaining complex healthcare partnerships
Demonstrated ability to engage senior market executives, with strong executive presence and influence
Strong project management discipline
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
