Responsibilities
Execute and ensure adherence to the Configuration Management process, including maintaining and updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Ensure a smooth Change Management process, including monitoring, supporting and approving approval processes via the Change Advisory Board (CAB), and driving continuous improvements
Develop and implement a roadmap for a holistic and agile Configuration and Change Management approach in line with ITIL best practices
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all operational matters
Maintain, improve and implement processes within the ITSM solution and create reports
Deliver training and provide operational support for colleagues and external partners, including preparing user manuals and work instructions
Participate in cross-functional projects as the operational subject-matter expert for Configuration and Change Management and represent process-related topics
Requirements
Completed university degree with a focus on IT or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification
Professional experience in IT Service Management (especially Configuration and Change Management)
Experience with ITSM tools in the areas of configuration, change management, reporting and IT service management
Strong understanding of ITIL v3 or ITIL v4
Familiarity with IT governance, compliance and audit requirements
Business-fluent German and English
