Responsibilities
Conduct market assessments, build competitive landscapes, and evaluate trends to identify business opportunities
Develop and validate product-market fit in collaboration with R&D and product teams to refine concepts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and potential market demand
Create go-to-market strategies including potential launch plans, target segments, distributional channels, pricing/packaging, and opportunity models
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to accelerate market entry or expansion
Contribute to product management activities for early-stage innovation projects like presenting demos to key partners and analyzing the feedback for product iteration
Manage innovation pipeline and help project leads think through product value propositions and hypotheses
Present analyses and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization, including research, design, business, marketing, and executive teams to accelerate projects
Collaborate with diverse teams, presenting your insights and recommendations to drive innovation across Dolby
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required with 5+ years of experience in tech-oriented business roles (e.g., product management, business development, strategy consulting)
OR MBA preferred (or relevant Master's degree in Business, Strategy, Product Management, or related field) with 3+ years of experience in tech-oriented business roles
Strong analytical skills with experience in market sizing, trend analysis, and financial modeling
Comfortable working with technical teams and technologies such as AI/ML, cloud, edge computing, audio/video processing, multimodal experiences
Experience with business analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SiSense) and market analysis platforms (e.g. CB Insights, Pitchbook, Statista, Crunchbase, etc.)
Proven track record of developing go-to-market strategies
