About the role
- Senior Business Affairs Manager overseeing production, legal, and financial aspects of client services. Collaborating with teams on contracting, budgeting, and compliance for diverse media productions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production, legal, business and financial aspects of production
- Handle the campaign from creative approval to production completion and final job closing
- Work with Producers on national broadcast productions
- Partner with EVP on production estimates and talent session estimates
- Prepare production related contracts and purchase orders
- Procure celebrity talent and negotiate agreements
- Communicate with music houses to secure rights
- Attend commercial shoots to ensure SAG guidelines are followed
Requirements
- Solid Knowledge of SAG, AFTRA and AFM union contracts
- Familiar with and can identify legal and clearance issues
- Thorough understanding of the production process
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Impeccable negotiation skills
- Need to have a problem solving attitude.
- The candidate must be able to multitask between several projects
- Knowledge of the Extreme Reach and Highland payment system
- 5-8 years of experience in Advertising or Entertainment Business Affairs.
- BA/BS Degree preferred. Law degree or other advanced degree a plus.
