About the role
- Ocean Strategy Development Analyst managing commercial strategies in Ocean Product at DMS Logistics. Collaborating with teams to analyze data and improve performance indicators in the maritime sector.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of commercial strategies for the Ocean product;
- Monitor performance indicators (conversion, volume, revenue and profit), proposing improvements;
- Analyze quotation data to identify opportunities and gaps;
- Design and track action plans with Commercial, Freight Design and Operations teams;
- Act as the focal point between areas, ensuring alignment and execution of priorities;
- Support the definition of commercial policies (pricing, services and directional policies);
- Prepare executive reports, BIDs and strategic materials;
- Monitor targets by customer, industry and route;
- Support BID governance and follow-up;
- Lead internal forums with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
Requirements
- University degree completed;
- Intermediate to advanced English – will be tested;
- Experience working for service providers in the freight forwarding/agent segment, with commercial and/or operational experience in ocean (maritime) transport, having worked in shipment coordination, inside sales or pricing;
- Experience with data analysis, KPIs, Excel and BI tools at a user level;
- Knowledge of maritime services, including analysis of import and export processes, demurrage, rebates, BID negotiations and spot operations.
