About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage squads for data engineering, data science, MLOps and analytics, ensuring deliveries are on time and meet quality standards.
- Support the implementation of data governance and data quality measures, ensuring compliance with LGPD and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the model lifecycle (design, validation, training and productionization) in areas such as credit, fraud prevention, segmentation and personalization.
- Implement MLOps practices, CI/CD and observability for models in production.
- Monitor performance indicators and support ROI management of Data & AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners under the guidance of executive management.
- Promote a data-driven culture within the squads and encourage continuous technical upskilling.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
- Experience: Established experience in data/AI areas, with background in coordinating technical teams or complex projects.
- Technical knowledge: Python; SQL; Spark or equivalent; cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP); ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch); BI tools (Power BI, Looker or similar).
- Governance and compliance: Practical knowledge of LGPD and regulatory requirements for the financial sector.
- Management: Experience coordinating squads, managing backlogs, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and MLOps practices.
- Interpersonal skills: Organized, clear communication with technical audiences, collaborative leadership and result orientation.
