About the role
- Accountant managing fixed assets for Diamond Foundry's evolving finance team. Supporting accounting and reporting of expanding asset base in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Fixed Asset accounting activities, including additions, retirements, transfers, and monthly depreciation, in compliance with company policies and US GAAP.
- Assist with monthly and annual close processes by preparing journal entries and performing Fixed Asset reconciliations.
- Partner with finance and operations teams to track Construction-in-Progress (CIP), research project spending, and support timely capitalization of assets.
- Prepare Fixed Asset schedules and supporting documentation for Property Tax filings and audit requests.
- Participate in process improvements and system enhancements as the company continues to scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience; Fixed Assets experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and comfort working in a growing, evolving environment.
