Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance;
- Manage certain building-related, health, and safety projects;
- Oversee technical maintenance and cleaning of premises at all times;
- Carry out maintenance tasks as required;
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities on specific projects;
- Coordinate work on vacant units;
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to ensure proper operation;
- Efficiently manage all service calls, tenant technical requests, and emergency situations;
- Handle routine building maintenance and upkeep procedures (pump tests, repairs, preventive maintenance, and other building equipment and technical systems);
- Supervise tenant move-ins to their apartments;
- Implement appropriate corrective measures in case of non-compliance to resolve issues;
- Assist property managers with related tasks.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience;
- Knowledge of building mechanics is an asset;
- Commitment to providing quality customer service;
- Ability to build strong relationships with tenants, managers, and other company departments;
- Energetic, organized, available, resourceful, and autonomous;
- Manual skills and knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and general building maintenance;
- Ability to work under pressure and non-standard hours, sometimes exceeding 40 hours per week;
- Adhere to safe work practices.
