About the role
- Data and AI Advisor supporting SAS platforms in a modern cloud environment. Implementing tools and processes to strengthen AI governance and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Help define and implement AI-based tools to support SAS platform governance.
- Provide oversight for analytics and artificial intelligence from a SAS governance perspective.
- Work with the Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance, responsible AI practices and governance across the data and analytical model lifecycle.
- Assess and monitor model quality, bias and performance.
- Advise and support business, analytics and IT teams.
- Implement monitoring, audit and continuous improvement mechanisms.
- Stay up to date on evolving practices, SAS capabilities and regulatory requirements.
- Develop scripts and workflows to manage training data and prompts in the data lake.
- Implement versioning, traceability and compliance mechanisms for models and their artifacts.
- Work with data engineering teams to ensure our AI solutions are resilient and protect confidential information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, AI or another related discipline
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in machine learning
- Significant experience in machine learning and developing AI models
- Proven experience deploying and operationalizing AI models in cloud environments, including Azure
- Strong command of AI and LLM frameworks and related practices (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API)
- Hands-on experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong programming expertise (Python required, Java and Bash are considered assets)
- Azure certification or proven ability to operate effectively in this ecosystem
- Knowledge of French is required
