About the role
- Analista de Planejamento de Demanda Sr. at Dengo responsible for sales forecasting and supporting S&OP implementation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales forecasts at the item (SKU) level using statistical analyses, sales history and market trends for both short- and long-term horizons.
- Support the implementation of the S&OP process; actively participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, acting as a focal point and collaborating with Marketing, Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain to define the future sales plan.
- Interface with Production, PCP (Production Planning and Control) and Supply teams, providing visibility into sales forecasts, risks and opportunities discussed during the S&OP cycle and SKU sales forecasts.
- Perform analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, opportunities and risks to forecast accuracy.
- Create, manage and update demand plan-related KPIs (e.g., SFA and BIAS) and communicate these metrics across the company.
- Lead communication and coordination with commercial teams regarding stock constraints, and participate in communicating and defining item prioritization.
- Responsible for managing and monitoring the delisting process in partnership with the Marketing team; define action plans for clearance and coordinate communication with Supply teams.
- Lead the process for mitigating inventory risk. Identify at-risk items, define action plans with Marketing and Commercial teams, and communicate and track execution of those plans.
- Support continuous improvement projects for demand planning processes and tools.
- Assess the impact of new product launches, promotions, seasonality or market movements on demand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Logistics or related fields.
- Previous experience in demand planning, preferably in environments with high data volumes and multiple product categories.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP systems (planning or logistics modules preferred).
- Highly communicative profile with excellent interpersonal skills to act as a connection point between different areas.
- Strong analytical ability to handle large volumes of information and turn data into insights.
- Agility and adaptability to work in dynamic environments and manage priorities.
- Experience with S&OP processes is a plus.
