Senior Systems Citrix Engineer providing technical solutions for Citrix environments at Datacom. Collaborating with teams to deliver Citrix technology-based support and engaging in projects for customers.
Responsibilities
Interact directly with customers and other members of the Datacom teams to support and deliver Citrix technology-based solutions
Responsible for the support of Citrix environments, within contracted time frames and service level agreements
Provide remote support and ad-hoc onsite visits when required
Participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support
Responsible for requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for customers
Provide technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels
Maintain technical documentation
Use tools and processes to deliver services to ensure service level agreements are met
Proactively manage customer infrastructure and drive service process improvement
Scope and work on projects utilizing Citrix and NetScalers
Coach others in the team to contribute to the specialist practice at Datacom.
Requirements
at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies
Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies
Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops design, configuration, and administration
Citrix Netscaler design, configuration, and administration
User profile and environment management via UPM, WEM, FSLogix
Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
Managing workloads and resources within public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV
Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault.
