About the role

• Engineer/Project Manager for PME Project Management & Engineering GmbH. Leading energy sector project development from planning to execution in Potsdam.

Responsibilities

• Project management for new construction and refurbishment of plants in the energy sector, including cost and resource planning
• Operational owner's representative
• Independently oversee construction projects from planning and permitting through implementation, commissioning, and documentation
• Responsible for meeting deadlines and budgets and for achieving project objectives during execution
• Point of contact for contractors, engineering offices, expert assessors, and authorities

Requirements

• Degree in energy engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plant engineering, or a comparable qualification, or certification as a state-certified technician
• Practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant/industrial engineering
• Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law, and the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
• Technical know-how in renewable energy, particularly biogas plants, is an advantage
• MS Office skills
• Excellent written and spoken German language skills
• Possession of a valid Class B driving license (car)
