About the role
- Quality Assurance Engineer ensuring compliance across ground segment systems at CROWDCONSULTANTS. Monitoring QA activities and supporting engineering lifecycle in highly regulated space environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor Quality Assurance activities across ground segment systems and programme phases
- Contribute to system engineering lifecycle activities, ensuring quality requirements are embedded from early design through integration, validation, and operations
- Participate in system and project reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and audits
- Support verification & validation (V&V) and integration activities from a QA perspective
- Contribute to anomaly and non-conformance management (NCR/ARB), including root cause analysis and follow-up
- Support risk management and lessons learned processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g. ECSS, ISO 9001) and contractual requirements
- Interface with system engineering teams, operations, and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within complex system environments
- Strong understanding of system engineering lifecycle
- Experience in ground segment, mission operations, or satellite operations environments
- Experience participating in system-level reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR or similar)
- Knowledge of verification, validation, and integration processes
- Familiarity with standards such as ECSS, ISO 9001, or equivalent
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
- Degree in engineering or a technical discipline
