About the role
- Senior Software Architect responsible for enterprise architecture in fintech. Shaping application architecture in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and improving development processes.
Responsibilities
- Implement the enterprise architecture into the application architecture in coordination with other architecture owners (Enterprise Architect, Data Architect)
- Document the application architecture
- Define development standards and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Develop prototypes / MVPs
- Design and develop solution concepts
- Introduce innovative approaches to improve the development process
- Train and support development teams
- Support the preparation of business requirements
- Communicate the application architecture to other areas of the bank (business units, executive board)
Requirements
- Completed IT-related degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) with relevant professional experience, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a development environment as well as in the conception and design of complex software solutions
- Strong experience in defining, documenting, and implementing architectural decisions
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and strong communication skills
- High quality and sense of responsibility as well as very good team skills
- High willingness to learn and strong interest in new innovations
- Business-fluent German and very good English, both spoken and written
