Responsibilities
Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with organizational goals
Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and Board of Directors
Oversee and maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
Monitor cash balances, liquidity, and funding requirements
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting standards specific to credit unions
Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and external partners
Review and approve financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and financial operations
Support risk management and internal controls
Partner with leadership on growth initiatives and organizational planning
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA strongly preferred
Minimum of 8+ years of accounting/finance experience
5+ years in a CFO or senior leadership role
MUST HAVE experience within a credit union environment
Ability to operate in a hands-on capacity
Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance
