Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies to ensure software quality for web, mobile, and API applications.

Perform both manual and automated testing, ensuring full coverage for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests.
Track and report defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner and follow up on open issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and business people) to align on product requirements, quality goals, and timelines.
Mentor and guide team members, contributing to their growth and enhancing their technical knowledge of QA best practices.
Continuously assess and refine QA processes, including the introduction and improvement of automation frameworks.
Analyze risks related to quality and propose solutions to mitigate these risks.
Track and report key quality metrics, using data to drive quality improvements across the software development lifecycle.
Ensure all testing activities are properly documented and compliant with internal standards and industry best practices.
Lead and contribute to the adoption of Scrum practices, promoting collaboration and communication across the team.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Demonstrated success building the software QA practice within an organization.
Strong experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman).
MySQL experience.
Familiarity with waterfall and Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
Solid understanding of SQL for data verification and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and Smartsheets
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
Ability to think critically and resolve problems proactively.
Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
