About the role

  • QA Manager leading and developing QA team to ensure high quality standards for AI solutions at Expert.ai. Responsible for planning and integrating QA practices in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Work in international context, coordinating, motivating, and supporting the QA team, ensuring professional growth of its members.
  • Introduce and maintain both industry standard and innovative testing methodologies (e.g., risk-based testing, shift left practices, test automation strategies, BDD/TDD).
  • Work closely with the development teams (asset and software) to enhance the integration of QA within the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on how to best leverage testing activities throughout the design, development, and validation phases.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project/Service Managers, DevOps, and SRE teams to ensure consistency and quality across the entire release pipeline.
  • Promote a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Promote the adoption of innovative tools and techniques, including experimentation and proof of concept activities.

Requirements

  • You have a master’s degree or more and have knowledge of Computer Science and technical aspects. Familiarity with AI is a plus.
  • You are a professional with 5+ years of experience in QA, including hands on work with test automation.
  • You are fluent with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and have Knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • ISTQB (Foundation/Advanced), Agile, or DevOps certifications are considered a plus.
  • You are comfortable managing internal and external stakeholders, up to the C-Level.
  • You are flexible, resilient, and you can manage tasks based on diverse technologies and in diverse industries.
  • You can deliver effective technical presentations to any audience expressing strong communication skills.
  • You are a natural problem solver and result oriented.
  • You are fluent in English and Italian. Additional languages are a plus.
