Atlassian Solutions Engineer providing technical support for Jira and Confluence tools. Managing environments and developing integrations in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Jira and Confluence, including troubleshooting, incident management, and user requests.
Administer and maintain Atlassian Cloud environments, including configurations, workflows, schemas, automations, and permissions.
Develop and maintain integrations between Jira/Confluence and other enterprise tools using Java microservices, REST APIs, and webhooks.
Support the deployment and maintenance of Atlassian plugins and apps, ensuring compliance with internal security and architecture standards.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to continuously improve the Atlassian ecosystem by proposing automations, enhancements, and standardizations.
Monitor performance, logs, and alerts for the tools, acting proactively to prevent incidents.
Support change management and communications regarding updates, maintenance, and new features.
Document technical procedures, integrations, and support workflows.
Requirements
Proven experience supporting Jira and Confluence (Cloud and/or Data Center).
Strong knowledge of Java and microservices (Spring Boot preferred).
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, integrations, and automations between enterprise systems.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and versioning best practices.
Familiarity with databases (SQL).
Experience with Atlassian Marketplace, Automations, and ScriptRunner is desirable.
Technical English for reading and communicating with global teams.
