About the role
- Atlassian Solutions Engineer providing technical support for Jira and Confluence tools. Managing environments and developing integrations in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Jira and Confluence, including troubleshooting, incident management, and user requests.
- Administer and maintain Atlassian Cloud environments, including configurations, workflows, schemas, automations, and permissions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Jira/Confluence and other enterprise tools using Java microservices, REST APIs, and webhooks.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of Atlassian plugins and apps, ensuring compliance with internal security and architecture standards.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to continuously improve the Atlassian ecosystem by proposing automations, enhancements, and standardizations.
- Monitor performance, logs, and alerts for the tools, acting proactively to prevent incidents.
- Support change management and communications regarding updates, maintenance, and new features.
- Document technical procedures, integrations, and support workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting Jira and Confluence (Cloud and/or Data Center).
- Strong knowledge of Java and microservices (Spring Boot preferred).
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, integrations, and automations between enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and versioning best practices.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL).
- Experience with Atlassian Marketplace, Automations, and ScriptRunner is desirable.
- Technical English for reading and communicating with global teams.
