About the role
- Senior Software Engineer responsible for real-time hypervisor development on x86 platforms. Involves design, implementation, and development of software for various operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of our real-time hypervisor for x86 platforms
- Design and implementation of Board Support Packages for various real-time operating systems
- Taking over development responsibility for parts of our product
- Development of technical realization concepts/software architecture
- Analysis of the real-time behavior of operating systems
- Specification and implementation of unit tests and test software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / software Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in a related field
- Senior Software Developer for C and C++
- Significant experience with different operating systems as a developer (e.g., implementation of device drivers or kernel development) as a user (Linux/Unix, Windows, various real-time operating systems)
- Experience with software architecture
- Experience in virtualization is an advantage (Intel VT-x, AMD SVM)
- Knowledge of real-time and industrial control systems is an advantage
- Security experience and training are an advantage (e.g., IEC 62443)
- Good communication and presentation skills
