About the role
- Finance Business Partner supporting the transition into a hotel management owner/operator. Collaborating with global teams to improve financial processes and business performance.
Responsibilities
- support and strengthen business performance by supporting business teams on strategy, monthly performance, and decision making. Act as a trusted finance business partner
- provide insights on the core financial and non-financial business performance. Clearly explain the business trends and potential implications to the senior leaders
- develop and co-create business cases for the key innovations. With that, you will unleash the required resources for growth, whilst ensure accountability to deliver results
- own the inputs of your teams for financial cycles such as budgeting and long-term plans
- drive data analytics and automation through digital tooling such as Tagetik and PowerBI
- working with the financial control teams to assure smooth month-end closing processes
- support citizenM’s finance strategy and identify opportunities for improvements, standardization and best practice implementation
Requirements
- have a master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or economics
- experience in finance, business control, M&A, consulting, or accounting
- strong motivation and curiosity to perform financial analysis, identify trends, and understand the ‘story’ behind the numbers
- have strong communication skills and are able to communicate business insights to various organizational levels and with different internal and external stakeholders
- advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills. Preferably experienced in PowerBI and Tagetik
- have the ability to keep the broad overview, whilst also having eye for detail
- have a proactive mindset, and enjoy developing new solutions
