Responsibilities
- Be accountable for ensuring best in class core credit risk analysis of applicable portfolio ensuring consistency with industry leading practices and conforms to all internal credit procedures/policies, and all related regulatory expectations
- Validate financial inputs used to determine credit risk rating of clients across different industries and regions
- Identify and analyze situations that create risk for Citi
- Communicate findings of analysis to Lead Reviewers
- Hire, develop, mentor and manage junior analysts and their respective workflows
- Analyze and interpret data to make conclusions or recommendations
- Support the CRR Chief Administrative Officer’s team in special projects and other non-review CRR functions in special projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of credit experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management
- Formal credit training or strong understanding of financial accounting standards
- Experience in assessing the credit and financial strength of clients by performing fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors
- Managerial experience a plus
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Access, Word, Visio, AI powered tools, etc.); Visual Basic experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to express and communicate concisely and clearly with various levels of management.
