Responsibilities
Administer device management and security tools (e.g. MDM, endpoint protection, VPNs).
Own end-to-end employee device management, including laptops, accessories, and peripherals.
Configure and manage office and remote network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.
Set up, configure, and deploy devices for new hires across locations.
Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, retrieval, and access changes.
Maintain device inventory, lifecycle tracking, repairs, replacements, and decommissioning.
Manage user access across internal tools and systems, ensuring the right access at the right time.
Enforce security best practices including password policies, device encryption, and access controls.
Provide first-line IT support to employees for hardware, software, and access issues.
Troubleshoot device, network, and system issues and coordinate with vendors where needed.
Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, onboarding checklists, and system usage.
Partner with the People team to ensure smooth joiner, mover, and leaver processes.
Support audits, security reviews, and compliance requirements related to systems and devices.
Identify opportunities to automate, standardise, and improve IT and device workflows.
Manage IT-related vendors, warranties, services, and service providers.
Provide regular updates and insights on system health, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in systems administration, IT operations, or device management.
Hands-on experience setting up and managing network systems and device/access controls at scale.
Comfortable supporting employees across different teams and levels.
Solid working knowledge of IP networking (routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and can diagnose and resolve network issues.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Enjoy building structure, documentation, and repeatable processes from scratch.
Detail-oriented and security-conscious.
Great at managing multiple requests and priorities without dropping the ball.
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
