About the role

Responsibilities
- Has 24-hour accountability for the activities of general radiology at the main campus, south campus, and testing centers.
- Responsible for facilitating efficient operation of the department and ensuring appropriate staffing needs are planned and arranged.
- Ensure quality care is provided by competent and educated staff.
- Evaluate patient satisfaction surveys to develop training areas and staff retention.
- Provide an orientation of sufficient scope and duration for new employees.
- Provide education and training to maintain and improve knowledge and skills of personnel.
- Participate in organizational management and administrative functions throughout the hospital.
- Accountable for policy and regulatory compliance within the department and other imaging departments.
- Responsible for departmental budgets, patient experience, and employee engagement.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in health sciences from an accredited program required
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- CPR certification
- ARRT Registered in Radiography - ODH (required)
- Radiologic Technology license (required)
- 3+ years of experience as an imaging technologist (required)
- 5+ years of leadership experience in relevant field (preferred)
