Responsibilities
You will be the technical and economic reference for farmers in your area while playing a key role in developing and promoting the large-scale crop services offering.
Facilitation and advisory support for development groups (Is-sur-Tille – Saint-Seine-l’Abbaye area)
Facilitation of 3 large-crop development groups
Organize and lead field tours, technical meetings and discussion sessions
Provide on-farm agronomic expertise (cropping systems, soil fertility, crop protection)
Technical and economic management, analysis and monitoring of gross margins within the groups
Set up large-strip trials and a plot monitoring network to gather benchmarks and, in collaboration with the arable crops team, build technical information (guides, “AVERT” bulletins, BSV…)
Manage and structure the large-crop services offering
Actively promote services to farmers
Directly contribute to revenue development
Propose improvements to services based on field needs
Technical management and monitoring of SENCROP weather stations
Provide individual agronomic and phytosanitary advice
Identify prospects and convert them into clients
Retain farmers through high-quality follow-up and advice
Service-oriented approach focused on added value and results
Propose and deliver training to farmers (VIVEA)
Complete farmers’ CERTIPHYTO certifications.
Requirements
Education: BTSA, Professional Bachelor, Agronomy Engineer degree or equivalent
Proven experience in agronomic advisory for large-scale crops
Strong skills in agronomy and cropping systems, phytosanitary advice and technical-economic analysis (gross margins, costs)
Strong commercial drive and business development sense
Excellent interpersonal skills, field-oriented and persuasive
Autonomy, sense of responsibility, entrepreneurial mindset
