Responsibilities
Liaising with the Configuration Centre Technical lead to define priorities, objectives and strategy
Work with Config trainer to design training packages for skill enhancement
Provide technical support for enterprise opportunities and support Consultant technicians
Document and maintain technical documentation per company standards
Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders
Collaborate with Configuration Centre Consultancy team to capture requirements and manage expectations
Maintain and improve skills in appropriate technologies
Identify improvement and automation opportunities
Ensure customers receive the highest level of quality
Perform additional duties assigned by the leadership team.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience of configuring Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE
Virtualisation technologies
Fundamental architectural understanding of hyper convergence (Nutanix, Hyperflex)
Fundamental architectural understanding of ACI (Cisco)
Understanding of scripting languages to help support automation opportunities
Minimum CCNA qualification, learning towards higher qualifications (CCNP etc.)
Previous experience in a Pre Staging environment extremely advantageous.
Experience of device deployment on scale advantageous.
Demonstrable experience of SQL databases and reporting.
Demonstrable experience architecting, documenting and deploying IT infrastructure.
Previous use and understanding of MS Visio is essential.
